finds inspiration for creating unique characters like Buhdeuce and
Bellybag. He recalls when he started doing impressions and voice

Freeman, Michael Caine and Chris Rock.
He speaks to what he

Canadian
voice acting super talent, Eric Bauza known as the voice of Foop,
Buhdeuce, Chet, Tiger Claw and more, came to Hollywood and began working
as a production assistant, went on the editing and it led to his career
as a voice talent. He speaks to how his experience working on the
production side has helped him as a voice actor as well as his brief
foray in stand up comedy.
Eric talks about some of his current
projects like Bellybag on Uncle Grandpa with Kevin Michael Richardson,
Foop on Fairly Oddparents, The Looney Tunes Show playing Marvin the
Martian with voice over royalty recreating other iconic Mel Blanc
voices, Turbo Fast as Chet, Buhdeuce in Breadwinners, Teenage Mutant
Ninja Turtles as Tiger Claw.
He recalls the moment when things
changed for him in his career when he booked El Tigre and shares his
approach to the audition process including what his experience drawing
animated characters gives him. Eric also gives some great advice for how
to bring auditions to life.

Townsend
shares what makes up his humble home studio setup that includes an

done to date that he’s really proud of, what he feels are his strengths
as a voice talent and some current projects he has going on.
Townsend
offers some great advice to anyone wanting to work in promos complete
with what important steps to take and ways to develop your skills. He
gives advice to his 20 year-old self that is very inspiring and his
positive attitude and approach to life is infectious including what he
feels are the keys to his success.
He talks about his involvement
with the Don LaFontaine Voice Over Lab and remembers some personal
experiences he had with Don. Townsend discusses charity work he does for
the Primetime Voices for Children organized by Joe and Ann Cipriano.

how it all started for him as an Architect major in college, to working
in radio and reflects on what lead him to move to Los Angeles 30 years
ago which led to his first big break in animation. He shares the story
of how he landed to promo voice job for NBC “Must See TV” that lasted
for 16 years and what being a part of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
franchise as the original voice of Michelangelo, means to him.
Townsend
talks about what his career entails now, auditioning daily from home
and what voiceover work he prefers not to do. He addresses some of the
changes he likes and dislikes in today’s VO business with respect to
