director and teacher Stevie Vallance via Skype from Toronto, Canada. She
tells the story of how she got her first job working on the TV series,
Madeline that also won her an Emmy.
Stevie takes us back to the
beginning of why she initially started doing voiceover and describes in
detail her amazing 5 Golden Rules For Animation Voice Acting. She
explains effective ways to practice and how to determine if voice acting
is for you. She shares what stands out to her in animation auditions
and what she looks for in talent when she is casting animated shows.
She
talks about her process of listening to mp3 auditions and gives the
insights and information that you need to know. Stevie talks about what
she likes to hear on demos and the importance of having a great
attitude, being able to take direction and be spontaneous.
