Chuck and Stacey continue their chat with voice over superstar Vanessa
Marshall. She is known for her work as Hera Syndulla in Star Wars
Rebels, Irwin in The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and Mary Jane
Watson in The Spectacular Spiderman.
Vanessa talks about her
audition rituals and sings the praises of her renowned teacher Marice
Tobias. She tells the story of how she got the role of Mary Jane Watson
in The Spectacular Spiderman and shares great advice that she has gotten
along the way from Pat Fraley, Marice Tobias, Jodi Gottlieb and Jeff
Howell.
She talks about what she would do if she were starting
her career over today and ways to ride out the tough times. As a
lifelong Star Wars fan, Vanessa shares her feelings about playing Hera
on Star Wars Rebels and connecting with people on Twitter and at fan
conventions.
