Chuck and Stacey welcome an icon in the world of network promos and voice over coaching, Joyce Castellanos, who shares how she started as the secretary to the VP at NBC and worked her way up to promo director.

She talks about the first people she directed, the legendary Don LaFontaine and iconic voice of NBC, Danny Dark. She reflects on the changing styles in promo reads, shares her expertise on how to find the conversational tone and what trends she is noticing now in promos.

Joyce gives great advice about finding your signature voice and range and marketing yourself to where you best fit in. She speaks to why it is so vital to get training in the promo style of voice over and lets people know how they can reach her and partner, Gene Cordes of One Stop VO, for ongoing training and audition coaching.
