Tuesday Jul 19, 2016
Chuck and Stacey welcome Senior Producer at the CW Network, Harry Dunn,
who brings his vast experience as a promo producer, writer, director and
promo coach to the show. Harry shares how he got started in the
business as a trailer writer/editor at Cannon films directing greats
like Don Pardo, Mark Elliot and Don LaFontaine and writing for
television shows like In Living Color, which eventually led to working
at the CW network since 2002.
Harry offers his opinions on having
a range of skill for voicing promos and identifies some of the mistakes
voice talent make when reading them. He gives great tips for delivering
solid promo auditions that stand out and how to interpret the scripts.
Harry talks about some voice over demo myths and explains his process
when listening to demos.
Inspired by Atlas Talent Agent Heather
Vergo and VoicesVoicecasting friend, MaryLynn Wissner, Harry started
teaching privately and doing group workshops. Find out more about
studying with Harry and his demo production at DunnPromo.com
