EP 245 Thom Pinto: Voice Over Master Coach & Voice Actor/Narrator

Chuck and Stacey continue their PT2 interview with respected documentary, broadcast narrator, commercial, promo voice actor and master voice over coach, Thom Pinto who talks about challenging times in his career and how he overcame them. He offers advice for how to empower yourself to figure out what you can do to make positive changes in your career.

Thom shares tips for having success in the voice over business that include getting great training from different coaches, doing something everyday to advance your career from a phone call to an email and practicing on the microphone. He gives props to his former coach, David Lyerly and answers some things to watch out for when making a demo.

Thom asks Chuck about his experiences as a demo producer and adds some memorable experiences of his own working with animation icon, Cam Clarke and Lorenzo Music, the voice of Garfield and tells a story about his former student turned leading voice over coach, Dave Walsh.
