Episode 320 Part 2 - Chuck and Stacey continue the conversation with their longtime bestie, Mason Bendewald CEO of MEGAMACE Fitness Productions. As the fitness industry’s top director/producer, Mason is responsible for bringing the world P90X, the bestselling fitness series of all time, launching the Daily Burn streaming fitness library and so much more. Mason shares what he learned in his early years directing infomercials and fitness videos and the genesis of his company MEGAMACE Fitness Productions. He advises people to, “figure out what you’re great at and own it” and shares his core life mantras that have contributed to his success and happiness. Mason reminds people to focus on a goal but know when you need to redirect to overcome challenges. He speaks to how he adjusts and navigates setbacks and changes in his industry in order to stay relevant and continue evolving. Mason discusses the role philanthropy plays in his business model by being a Big Brother and how volunteering in orphanages in Mexico and Haiti literally led he and his wife to adopt their daughters. He reiterates what specific actions work to have success in life that include writing a business plan, paying yourself first and giving back.
