Radically improve your animation and video game auditions.
Voice
Director, Sam Riegel shares some of the things he likes and dislikes
that voice talent do in a session and the importance of having a good
attitude at work. He offers more amazing tips for animation and video
game auditions and talks about what it’s like working on the hit Disney
series, Sofia The First.
Sam describes in detail the major
differences and some of the challenges of working in the anime genre
versus animation. Sam takes us through his process when auditioning for
voice acting roles and addresses the question of how many takes of the
audition should be sent.
We hear the story behind his experiences
as a member of an a cappella singing group in college and how it helped
him land a writing gig on the network show The Sing Off. He talks about
his current projects some of which include another show for Disney and
his podcast, All Work No Play. The episode closes with Sam talking about
one of his most favorite real life roles, being a Dad.
