charities. VO pro, teacher and WordTheatre founder, Cedering Fox, shares
her career beginnings as a dancer and actor in New York and the chance
meeting that launched her voice over career.
She explains the
audition process in New York, the challenging transition she experienced
upon moving to Los Angeles and how she broke through the male-dominated
world of promo to begin working at the network level.
As a
teacher and performer, Cedering describes in a fascinating way her
process of breaking down a promo script to find the story and offers her
approach to teaching through inhabiting the words. She talks about how
the teaching phase of her career began after contributing to Joan
Baker’s book, Secrets of Voice Over Success.
