In this special episode, Chuck & Stacey spotlight members of the VO Buzz Weekly production team, Jory Federighi (graphics) and Erik Fashingbauer (camera & editing) along with their Gestures & Sounds bandmates, Brian LeGoo and Jeremy Lombardo. Their style of music, which they call passive aggressive stoke folk, is coming to a city near you as the guys head out on their first U.S. Tour to promote their album, Bill Nye Thinks We’re A Band. As the voice of Mercedes Benz, Burger King, Bacardi and Nestle in Mexico, Alfonso talks about the strategy and motivation he followed that eventually allowed him to move to Los Angeles to pursue his music production and voice acting dreams. He discusses the voice over opportunities in Mexico City and how the recording process differs from the General Market in the U.S. He talks about the way he approaches commercial auditions always trying to find the connection and authenticity to the campaign and what the client wants. He speaks to some of the trends and differences between the General and Spanish markets and encourages voice talent to remember that they are in the sales business.
