February 19, 2017

Chuck and Stacey are thrilled to chat with versatile actor, writer, producer and award-winning world class magician and voice over actor, Steve Valentine who can be seen in over 250 hours of film and television like Crossing Jordan, I’m in the Band and The Walk. He is also beloved for his compelling voice characters like King Alistair in Dragon Age and Harry Flynn in Uncharted and on Turbo Fast and Mr. Peabody and Sherman. He is also the creator and producer of the brilliant live one-man show, Life and Other Deceptions. You can go to www.SteveValentineLive.com for tickets and the latest news.

Steve, who was born in Scotland and raised near London, talks about his early years spent as a dancer, actor and magician and how his talents led him to take a gig on a cruise ship and eventually move to America. He shares stories of his early years acting and doing magic in Hollywood and some big career breaks working in on-camera commercials and as a series regular on Crossing Jordan for six years on NBC.

He gives some background on how he came up with the idea for his brilliant one-man stage show and the highlights and intense challenges he had to navigate through from raising money, to writing the script, building props, incorporating the magic elements, promoting it, and performing it live onstage. Steve has won both Close Up Magician of the Year and Lecturer of the Year two years in a row, performed at the world famous Magic Castle and in Vegas and he spontaneously performs some of his incredible close up magic for Chuck and Stacey and VO Buzz Weekly viewers. Prepare to have your mind blown! Be sure to come back next Sunday to watch the rest of the interview with Steve Valentine in Part 2, Episode 234!
